You have to laugh, and sympathise, with exasperated mum JANE KELLAWAY who has just released her debut CD For Crying Out Loud. The title track is a strident shout of frustration, with a catchy rocky beat that will strike a chord with parents everywhere. Jane’s vocals are sometimes brassy and demanding, sometimes gentle and warm, much like a mum of four needs to cultivate. A-Cluistic is an eye-opener about other people’s troubles. Jane’s Dad is honoured with not one, but two tracks, Mama Married A Man and Hot Lips. PMT Blues, a dawdling, morose blues number, will be recognised by every other female on the planet. Jane’s husband FRED is credited with helping Jane write all the tracks, and fine, well written songs they are. Raining In My Eyes and She’s An Angel (a song for Mums) are simply beautiful numbers. Only seven (and a half) songs, but a very delightful debut album.
